How do I obtain my fantasy bike picture?
Briefly, all you need to do is email to me a good quality digital photo of your bike and I will do the rest. Use the email address below. You will then recieve a sample picture via email. If you are happy with the image, you can order the full sized picture which will be sent to you via first class recorded post.
How do I get a good shot of my bike?
Follow the basic rules of photography: Make sure the sun is behind you but do not allow your shadow to get in the shot. Hold the camera really steady or use a tripod to avoid shake. Make sure that you fill the viewfinder by moving in towards the subject. Do not use the zoom as it is not necessary in this situation. Take the photo from the same sort of angle as the pictures on this site as this angle shows the bike at it's best with exhausts visible etc. A word about resolution: Most digital cameras will have a setup menu which will enable you to select a resolution for taking pictures. For this situation, you should aim to have the resolution set at about 600 x 450. If you fill the frame when taking the shot, this will give the best result for this setting. For normal photography you would probably require a higher resolution setting or your photos will be too small. If you are not sure what resolution your camera produces, take a picture and transfer it to your PC. Save it to a folder as a jpeg file then hover the cursor over the file. The resolution will appear in the info box.
How do I actually place an order ?
Send the jpeg file to me as an email attachment ( attach file, not attach photo ) and specify which background you require by using the word: 'haunted house, twilight woods, or hellfire'.
After a few days, you will recieve via email a draft of your requested image. If the draft is to your liking then you can request the full size image and pay for it. I would ask you to provide your address at this time. Upon paypal payment the print will be despatched to you in a suitable envelope.
Payment details
To pay for a print you will need a paypal account. If you do not have one then go to www.paypal.com and set up an account.
Log into your account and select the 'send money' tab. Follow the instructions and enter my email address along with the amount £12.50. Click 'send' and this will complete the transaction. My paypal and correspondence email address is fenderstrat@hotmail.co.uk .
A couple of days later you will have your print.
