Charles has been retired now for umpteen years and now divides his time between his wife, trains, boats and a motorbike so if your e-mail or phone call is not answered immediately, do not worry - you will be contacted as soon as possible.

For example - Charles had an email from America recently:

'Hi Charles, I have an old O gauge Hornby train set in a box which has been in the attic.

The engine is green. How much is it worth.'

Because Charles is only normal he cannot do valuations spiritually 3000 miles away - or even 10 miles away!

Please be precise. Do you want:

1. An emailed list of current stock - click here ( Please be specific ).

    NOTE: Please specify your requirements in the email subject line as well as the words 'stock request' eg.

    stock request - 00 and 0 gauge

    stock request - manufacturer ( eg. Hornby loco, Bassett Lowke rolling stock etc. ).

    stock request - rolling stock

    stock request - Dublo 3 rail track

    stock request - controllers

    If you do not receive a list, there is no stock available of your specification.

2. A valuation - this can only be done accurately following a visit and can cost money!

3. To buy trains or accessories - state your requirements in some detail.

4. To sell trains - we would require a detailed list of all the items describing the condition, whether boxed or unboxed etc. Also required would be the value you place on each individual item and the whole collection.

5. Advice - please state your exact problem / query as clearly as possible.
